A young company with an experienced team
BIGBUD Sp. z o.o. has been operating since 2024 and is based in Kraków. The company is a well-coordinated team of professionals with many years of experience in the power industry — line fitters, plant operators and site managers who previously built networks for distribution system operators and major contractors.
In our first two years we completed jobs for ENEA Operator, ZILINSKIS and PIWOWARSKI — from a short cable line in Bolewice to a contract worth more than PLN 2.4 million net, in which we led the consortium. Each client confirmed the work with a written reference letter.

From enquiry to handover

Review and pricing
We review the design, bill of quantities and site conditions. Within a few working days we prepare a quotation with a schedule.

Site preparation
Agreements with landowners and road authorities, traffic management, notifications, route setting-out and material deliveries.
- 03
Construction
Trenching and drilling, cable laying, installation of joints, terminations, junction cabinets and substations, removal of old networks — all by our own crews.

Testing and handover
Tests and measurements, as-built documentation and survey, handover of the network for operation.

Questions
Questions clients ask most often
Do you work as a subcontractor to main contractors?
Yes. Most of our jobs so far have been for contractors working on behalf of network operators (ZILINSKIS, PIWOWARSKI). We can take on the entire power-engineering scope or selected works, e.g. directional drilling only or cable laying.
Can you bid in operators’ tenders?
Yes. For ENEA Operator we were the consortium leader on a contract worth PLN 2,405,200 net covering the construction of transformer substations, MV and LV cable lines and the removal of 8.3 km of overhead line.
Where do you operate?
Throughout Poland. Our office is in Kraków, and our sites so far have been in the Lubuskie, Wielkopolskie and Kujawsko-Pomorskie provinces. We move our equipment with our own transport.
How quickly can you prepare a quotation?
Usually within a few working days of receiving the design or bill of quantities. For larger jobs we arrange a site visit and agree a deadline for the quotation.
Do you build grid connections for solar and wind farms?
Yes. We build MV cable lines, cable ducting and connection infrastructure for solar (PV) and wind farms — from the farm’s internal network to the connection to the operator’s grid.
