Why BIGBUD
A company that grows with its team
BIGBUD has been operating since 2024. In that time we have delivered contracts ranging from MV cable lines several kilometres long to a contract worth more than PLN 2.4m net for ENEA Operator, on which we were consortium leader. Every new contract means we need more people on site and in works preparation.
We work across Poland with our own plant: Caterpillar excavators, a Tracto directional drilling rig, a Tesmec puller and a loader crane truck. Take a look at our projects and equipment.
Roles
Who we typically look for
These are the typical roles on our sites. Our needs change with our order book — if you don't see your role, write to us anyway.
MV/LV cable network electrician
Laying cables, installing joints and terminations, setting cable junctions and transformer substations, taking part in network connections.
Overhead line electrician
Building, rebuilding and dismantling MV and LV overhead lines — poles, conductors, fittings and pole-mounted substations.
Excavator / HDD rig operator
Digging cable trenches near existing utilities, operating the directional drilling rig under roads, watercourses and railways.
Loader crane truck driver
Transporting and unloading cable drums, pipes and substation components, operating the crane on site.
Electrical works manager
Running MV and LV network sites, organising crews, liaising with the client and the operator, documentation and acceptances.

Questions from candidates
Where will I work?
On sites in different parts of Poland — so far we have run contracts in the Lubuskie, Greater Poland and Kuyavian-Pomeranian voivodeships, among others. Our office is in Kraków.
Do I need qualifications?
For electrician, operator and driver roles we require the qualifications that the law requires for the work in question. Tell us in your application which qualifications you hold and we will discuss the details.
Do you take on people with less experience?
Write to us. A growing company needs a range of people, and experienced team members are happy to share what they know.
Can I apply if there is no advert?
Yes. We accept applications at any time and get in touch when a suitable role comes up.
